Hey sis, I see you.
Youāve been dreaming about that first solo trip for months now. Maybe even years. š«£Ā
Youāve saved the Pinterest boards, watched all the TikToks, and imagined yourself stepping off a plane somewhere warm, vibrant, and totally new. But thereās still that little voice in your head whispering, āIs it safe? Can I actually do this alone?ā
Trust me, I get it. Because Iāve been there, too.
When I took my first-ever solo trip to Cartagena, I was a mix of nerves and excitement. I didnāt grow up thinking solo travel was even a real option, especially not for women who look like me. But something in me knew I had to go. So I booked the flight, figured out the logistics (with plenty of trial and error), and prayed I was making the right choice.
Spoiler alert: it changed my life.
That trip lit a fire in me that still burns to this day. Since then, Iāve explored over 30 countriesāmost of them solo and some with incredible friends I met along the wayābut always with a spirit of curiosity and growth. That confidence you see now? It didnāt come overnight. It came from being prepared, learning from mistakes, and figuring out how to move through the world with safety and intention.Ā
Thatās why I created The Wander Box to help you do the same.

This isnāt just about pretty pictures or checking off countries on a map. Itās about giving you the tools, resources, and real-talk guidance to help you feel prepared and empowered to take your first step. My travel guides are designed specifically with women in mind, especially women of color, because I know what itās like to navigate unfamiliar places while also carrying the weight of being āthe only oneā in the room.
With every guide, Iāve packed inside all the things I wish I had when I started: clear itineraries, hand-picked stays that prioritize safety and comfort, travel hacks to save money, and insights to help you blend in while standing in your truth.
The Wander Box is designed for women like you: curious, bold, and ready to rewrite what freedom looks like.
So if youāve been waiting for a sign that itās your time to travel, this is it. You donāt have to figure it all out alone. Iāve done the legwork so you can focus on the journey.
